Other adverts which have been a popular sight on a television sets over the years are the Bisto and Fairy Liquid advertising campaigns, all very cleverly done to draw the viewer in.  The Bisto family by the end of the campaign had become household favourites, as the children who had started out young, had become adults, and the public had watched this over the years.  Children’s clothing  (Kinderkleidung) has also had good advertising campaign’s over the years, companies such as GAP and Next have all launched advertising campaign’s on TV to try and boost sales figures.  Brightly coloured clothing is often used when trying to promote children’s clothing.  There is no doubt that television advertising certainly has an impact on where we shop.
